“Women and advocates from various formations join today’s commemoration of International Working Women’s Day in Liwasang Bonifacio, expressing solidarity with the striking workers of Nexperia Philippines and all working women around the world.

Spearheaded by Gabriela Women’s Party, the program kicks off with a performance of One Billion Rising.

“We commemorate this day in recognition of the significant strikes and protests led by women workers in their fight for living wages, labor rights, and against fascism,” Gabriela Women’s Party said in a statement.
