“STI College Kalibo Rises Once Again!

This morning, the Kalibo Population and Gender & Development Office (KPOPGAP) of LGU Kalibo and Aklan Peer Educators filled our quadrangle with strength, unity, and purpose through their powerful flash mob performance for One Billion Rising 2026: Rise for Our bodies, Our Earth, Our Future.

More than a dance, it was a declaration—a call to protect our bodies, care for our environment, and shape a future grounded in dignity, equality, and justice. This year’s theme reminds us that the fight against violence is deeply connected to how we value ourselves, one another, and the world we live in.

As a community, STI College Kalibo stands firm in supporting this global movement. We rise not only in awareness, but in action—advocating for safe spaces, empowering voices, and nurturing a culture built on respect and compassion.

Thank you to LGU Kalibo for once again bringing this meaningful initiative to our campus, and to everyone who joined, watched, and reflected with us. Real change begins when we move together—with courage in our hearts and purpose in our steps.
