“HILDEGARD RISING 2026

Hildegard stands in strength and solidarity together with the @One Billion Rising around the world to end violence against women and children. More than a celebration of love, Valentine’s Day at Hildegard is an ocassion where we are reminded of the importance of respect, dignity, and standing up for one another.

The program opened with Teacher Cindy welcoming everybody and explaining the importance of the 1 Billion Rising movement which Hildegard commits to participate in every year since 2025 and why it matters. It was followed by a ribbon cutting for the Children’s Rights mural painted by the students last Monday for their springboard activity. Student Council Governor, Cyanna Lee Bernabe then delivers a powerful message to her fellow students on the importance of kindness, speaking up, and standing up for one another. The event’s highlight is the performance of the mass dance, Isang Bilyong Babae ang Babangon, held at the school grounds and participated by all students, teachers, and parents at Hildegard.

Through powerful literary performances, inspiring artworks, and expressive music and dance, our small school became voices in action. 🎭🎨🎶 .

The activity was concluded by the HPA and Student Council Cake Raffle and other Valentine’s day gimmiks and performances.”
