“The Ecumenical women and advocates observed the One Billion Rising today, February 14 at the NCCP Ecumenical Ministry, Church of the Risen Lord, UP Diliman. About 130 participants danced to the call to Rise Against Poverty, Corruption, and Impunity.
Speakers included Sr. Ma. Cecilia Perlas, CB, Rep. France Castro of Alliance of Concerned teachers, and, and the Association of Women and Theology of the Union Theological Seminary.
The liturgical gathering also celebrated the Jubilee 2025 observed by the faith community.”
