“Today, March 3, the PUP College of Science Student Council (PUP CS SC) actively participated in the Women’s Month Opening Ceremony 2025, organized by the PUP Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office (GEDSIO). Together with the College of Science Academic Organizations—such as the Philippine Association of Food Technologists – Theta Chapter, The PUP Physics Society, and the The PUP Mathematics Club—students actively participated in the One Billion Rising PH Dance following the Flag Raising Ceremony, showcasing unity and support for the global movement against violence toward women.

Additionally, officers from the PUP CS SC served as volunteers for Serbisyo Para Kay Juana, held at the PUP Main Academic Building, 3rd and 4th Floor South Wing Bridges.

Beyond participation, the PUP CS SC reaffirmed its dedication to advocating for women’s rights and fostering an inclusive academic environment. This active participation reflects a shared commitment to uplifting women and promoting gender equality in society.”
