“The March 8th march in Niš was organized for the third time by the Center for Girls and the Roma Women’s Association Osvit, and this year they were joined by the Human Rights Committee Niš. The Roma Women’s Association Nada Aleksinac and the Independent Women’s Center from Dimitrovgrad also joined the march.

Fifty participants walked through the central streets of Niš, carrying banners against fascism, discrimination and misogyny, about women’s labor rights, violence, femicide, rape, the right to abortion, unpaid domestic work, and more. Anabela Saćipović from Osvit and Tatjana Nikolić from the Center for Girls addressed the citizens through megaphones.
