“2/14/2025 – ONE BILLION RISING CAMPAIGN 2025

This year WUTMI Weto in Mour collaborated with 2 Public High Schools in coordinating activities for this year One Billion Rising Campaign. The Laura High School and Kwajalein Atoll High School held activities in their campus as part of the One Billion Rising Campaign. Each School created a short skit that addressed Violence Against Women and Girls especially intimate partner violence. Kwajalein Atoll High School not only create a skit but they also composed a song about Domestic Violence. The skits, songs and dance that were performed by these students and schools, is all about standing in solidarity with women who have been victims of violence. There were around 200 or more who were in the campaign activity. The Majuro Laura High School wrap up their program by performing the ONE BILLION RISING CAMPAIGN dance.
