Vision All-Female band was formed in November 2002 and is currently comprised of 7 women from across Guyana.  Each woman brings not only skills but also experience to the band in terms of singing, playing musical instruments and song-writing, to name a few. This band has traveled extensively throughout Guyana and has also been privileged to perform overseas in Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and Jamaica. Caribbean One Billion Rising for the Revolution is proud to have them join us in our Rising in Guyana on March 2015. The band tackles the issue of domestic violence in their latest video – “Women Rise Up” and will perform this song at our event as they join us in continuing to seek to empower women through music and bring healing to a nation that cries for change.
