One Billion Rising Revolution will be launched in Haiti, Miami and Guyana this coming September 24 to 29th with Eve Ensler, coordinate by local One Billion Rising coordinators.

10am: “The Vagina Monologues” at Haiti’s Parliament:

*A round table discussion will follow the performance with Parliamentary leaders, Eve Enser and Ms. Jean Dupuy , which will include a special call to men in Parliament to get involved in ending violence against women. The event will also serve as the launch of One Billion Rising Revolution Haiti

5pm – 8pm: One Billion Rising Revolution Miami launch/ with interactive panel discussion with key grassroots and public social justice advocates/ local premiere of new One Billion Rising film

*Eve Ensler will be joined by Fran Katz from Women’s Fund, and Ivon Mesa from Miami-Dade County’s Coordinated Victims Assistance Center, and women’s organisations, local artists and drummers.
