Last Sunday, March 5th, One Billion Rising Hong Kong – headed by Gabriela Hong Kong – led women Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) in commemorating the International #WomensDay2017 in a program-rally dubbed as “March of Women OFWs for Rights, Livelihood and Social Justice”. The Rising Strike event was participated in by migrant and domestic workers in Hong Kong. The event was held on a Sunday, March 5th, as Sundays is the regular day off for all domestic workers in Hong Kong. OBR Hong Kong is continuing to Rise to protect the rights of all workers.
