More than 40 organizations, including National Government Agencies, Local Government Units, and People’s Organizations, united to take a stand against impunity and injustice faced by women and girls.

This year’s theme, “Rise for our bodies, our Earth, our future,” inspires us to act not only for the rights and safety of women but also for the sustainable future of our communities.

Together, we rise to empower women, especially those in the fisheries industry, stand up for their rights, and promote fairness and inclusion in the sector. We rise for a world where safety, respect, and freedom aren’t privileges, but rights for everyone.”
