“On March 7, 2025, the Junior High School Department of St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina, proudly stood in solidarity with the One Billion Rising movement, celebrating the power, resilience, and strength of women everywhere! The theater was filled with unity, empowerment, and the spirit of resistance as everyone joined this global movement.

As part of the Women’s Month Celebration, the department danced, spoke out, and were united to raise awareness, demand justice, and break the cycle of violence against women and girls. The energy, passion, and commitment of the JHS community proved that change is possible when we rise together!

We RISE to end violence.
We RESIST oppression.
We UNITE for justice and equality.
