“On Saturday 22nd the CAV Itinerant GEA brought the “One Billion Rising” to Avigliano, with the participation of the Municipality of Avigliano (PZ) of the Equal Opportunity Commission and the students of the Silvio Spaventa Filippi Comprensivo Institute. The flashmob animated the center of the country, a flood of women, girls and boys, all dressed in red and black, the international colors of One Billion Rising, danced to the notes of “Break the Chain” shouting to the world its own no to violence against women and on children and girls, to spread a message of cultural, social and educational change that finally brings to an end to gender based violence.”
