“It is most energising to sing feminist songs, chant slogans and talk to young people, specially when the group is large and open. I have been doing so much talking at schools and colleges in the last three years. May be this is what keeps this 70 year old woman young. I was impressed by the self defence training being given by Delhi police to women students since 2002. Some things ARE changing and we celebrate this. The main initiator of this training in the School of Open Learning is a man, prof Devender Kakkar and he has been an OBR riser and organizer .
