On March 8th, Women’s Day, female collectives in Favela Da Paz, Sao Paolo Brazil, came together for a One Billion Rising celebration event in favor of life. Bringing together women of all ages and origins, this meeting was a manifestation of solidarity, empowerment and the fight for women’s rights. The energy was one of unity and strength, showing the power of sisterhood and collective action in the search for a more just and egalitarian society.
