On Saturday, we had a great opportunity to rise and infuse an artistic culture as we launched the One Billion Rising Campaign and celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Zimbabwean campaign. As the campaign grows, we are pleased to open up an artistic space for different artists who supported and performed at the Harare Open Mic. We had Poets, Musicians, dancers, and artists who played different traditional instruments. We are committed to opening up a festival culture and to making sure that each dance counts in the fight on the prevalence of violence  against women and girls.. We embrace diversity in our campaign and build on giving a voice to the intersectional concerns of the most marginalized. Join us as we escalate our actions in 2024 to pursue freedom in all its functional forms.
