On October 2nd, Jagori Rural conducted a wonderful event to promote #meregharaketodekho where we also we launched the theme of #OneBillionRising – Rise for freedom India. In this event we had 300 stakeholders from different blocks of Kangra, Chamba & Sirmour who participated in the campaign to break the barriers of cast, creed, race, religion and many more. To support the event we had 35 participants from Nepal & different states of India with the idea of visiting each other’s house & to share the culture, food, happiness & issues Jagori has come across during 800 family visits, and took an oath to reach out to 1 lakh families from all over India to celebrate freedom and spread love, peace & harmony in the society.
