Women’s Network Croatia (WNC), feminist political network of over 30 groups is the strongest voice in Croatia in promoting and defending women’s rights –  held its annual assembly from 28-30 October (with a special event on 29th) on strategies on how to resist the neo-conservative attacks on women’s rights.  The assembly included planning further OBR actions as an answer to a conservative backlash on women’s rights in Croatia which threaten women’s economic, political, sexual and reproductive rights. Network’s groups from different Croatian towns have been organizing OBR campaign and are preparing activities for the OBR 2017. The network will further strengthen cooperation with women’s sections of worker’s unions to demand better work conditions (today severely restricted: part-time work, insecure work contracts, unpaid work, sexual harassment, etc).
