Azad Foundation, Jagori, and Sangat came together to hold a short vigil and speak out for the more than 60 million girls and women “missing” in India. These are girls who have been aborted before birth, killed once born, or died of neglect for no other reason than that they were born female. This violence and discrimination must end now. Following the vigil, participants watched Kajarya, a powerful film that explores this pressing issue.
