Scores of women will unite to be heard and raise voices for sisters inside the jail at the 2015 V-Day/One Billion Rising rally at Lynwood Jail for Women. Derric Johnson of the Office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas will join A New Way of Life Re-Entry Project Founder, Executive Director and CNN Top Ten Hero Susan Burton in leading the voices. Joining hands and hearts in solidarity with the women locked in jail are Women Organizing for Justice. Women Organizing for Justice provides the education, tools and training to embolden women to be the voices required for systemic criminal justice reform, from community grassroots organizers to state and national advocates for change.
