Nepal held a One Billion Rising event on 14 January, organized by Voice for Equality in Nepal, an organization working for LGBTQ communities. The theme of the event was “Rise for Inclusion, Pluralism and Freedom” and had a large number of young girls and women attending. The event had Abha Bhaiya – long time OBR India national coordinator – as its special guest.
