THE FEMININE RISE is an Artistic UpRising. An artistic event boldly fusing music, dance, poetry, theatre, movement, film and ritual in an evening of creatively subversive, beautiful, sensual, provocative and ecstatic performance art celebrating women and honoring the Feminine.

The evening is a collective, powerful gathering using creative rising consciousness to build, foster, nurture and inspire deeper understanding of what it means for the Feminine to Rise. It is a call for us all to honor and embody the Feminine through art, as we Rise for Love, Humanity and Life.

One Billion Rising (OBR) is an art and activism movement in over 200 countries, now on its 7th year – born from the V-Day movement, to end violence against women and girls. Both were founded by Eve Ensler (award winning playwright of the international hit play “The Vagina Monologues”).

Join Eve Ensler, One Billion rising Global Director Monique Wilson, The Feminine Rise Creative Director Layla El Khadri, AWO Project, along with an astounding line up of artists and activists from all over the globe, as we RISE towards a vision of a new world.

The evening is produced by One Billion Rising/ V-Day, AWO Project – and Co-hosted by Akasha Restaurant, New Earth Haven and Ubudevents.
