One Billion Rising Atlanta was honored with a Reception and Proclamation by the City of Atlanta sponsored by Councilman Michael Julian Bond.  We were invited to the City Council Meeting and called up to receive the proclamation!!! The best part is when they asked if any of the other Council Members had anything to say and several came up to share their personal passion toward these issues. 

This year for OBR we will be staging The Vagina Monologues (so excited!) AND a world premiere of MANOLOGUES a show directed by hu-MAN UP an organization that has partnered with OBR Atlanta for the past 3 years.
