Justice to me is when we look out over the world, and people are able to be who they want to be, what they want to be, without fear of reprisal, punishment, imprisonment, or sadly death.

Whether it’s domestic abuse where the abuser walks free only to turn up and kill his/her estranged spouse,
or like a recent story of a family in my local area, where the husband for whatever reason, chose to end his life…and also his wife and two young children. There is NO justice in these types of events.

If it’s a woman forced to marry as if she were someone’s property, if it’s a girl shot because she wants to learn, or fill in the blank…The list of horrible realities are there.

I hope that some day…our children, our grandchildren, their children will FINALLY get to be as FREE as we all want to be. Peaceful, appreciating everyone’s beauty and moving forward in a way that we can all be proud of.
