THIS IS WHAT JUSTICE LOOKS LIKE TO ME:
Women being heard and validated for their thoughts and contributions; whether within the home or in decision making positions of political power
Women releasing the shame that binds; the shame that has been culturally imposed upon them
Women being free to BE alive and expressive
Women having a voice, finding their voice, and having the courage to speak out when violated
No longer bound by the fear to say: NO, STOP, I DO NOT CONSENT, I NEED HELP
A community of support and encouragement holding their hearts and hands
A place where the feminine principles are valued
Where healing becomes normal and encouraged, not shunned as a sign of weakness
A place where Motherhood is respected and valued as deeply important work and is not in competition with ‘earning a buck’
An elimination of advertisement that sexualizes and promotes the objectification of women
An elimination and zero tolerance of Photoshop and the unrealistic standard of beauty within media and pop culture
A place in which Women are treated with dignity and respect during the childbearing years
Women accessing and being supported in REAL informed consent
ZERO tolerance for medical practitioners touching women WITHOUT her consent and without coercion or guilt tactics
Women feeling empowered by her body, in love with her body, and safe within her body
A justice system that support restorative processes and circle work
and…
A need to no longer participate in: women shaming one another, complaining about one another, comparing and competing with one another all through the destructive and distracting force called GOSSIP and IDLE CHIT CHAT… RATHER we need to rise together and unite.
