On the night of December 30 1995 I was attacked, raped, and left for dead.
I started a journal of this journey with the intention of publishing it at a time when rape was not discussed in polite circles.

Now, eighteen years later, I know that the journal in its original form is un-publishable. I do not have the time or inclination to re-write it but I believe that the story must be told.
And, I believe that I can use my experiences, and my facebook page, as a medium to assist other survivors of traumatic violence.

So – the plan is undefined, and all the goals are unclear.

But one clear goal is to start a Forgiveness Folio.
The aim of this project is to encourage the writing of creative memoirs and memories on the issues of forgiveness, reconciliation as the result of trauma. To bring together survivors to reflect on and support each other on their highway to healing.

So let the journey begin…
