Only I know how much my heart cries to those innocent girls/women who have been raped. Our capital has turned into a rape capital of India. It’s such a shame for our country. And instead of standing up for our women, we blame them only for their condition. Why would anybody “ask for it”? Why would a 2-3 year old girl “ask for it”? Why is their no peace? Why don’t we feel safe in our own city/country? Why do we have to be careful every time we step out of our homes? Why do we need protection? Why????
People who can’t take all this, shift to different countries, where they feel much safer. But is this the solution? No. Instead of running away from the problem why don’t we come together and fight for it?
It’s time for change. We need to stand up and raise our voice for our own safety. It’s time, we need to teach our boys how to behave instead of blaming our girls for everything. It’s time that we fight back.
And the time is NOW.
