Justice means no more harassment. Justice means being able to walk the street without being in fear of assault or rape. Justice means being able to report my assailant no matter how many years after the crime was committed. Justice means putting the victim first, and punishing the criminal. Justice means support for the victim–the survivor–and compassion, not shame. Justice means a community holding together, and the courts supporting it. Now, what is left for justice is that it must not be silent, but stand for those who are broken, a support in the winds.
