Justice for women is THE central global issue in my mind. True justice, assurance of safety, voice and equal access to resources would influence every other major concern in the world, from global warming to human and environmental health. What that looks like is more women leadership around the globe–in politics and business and the media. Men worldwide understand the nature of oppression and privilege and act as allies to women and girls as they grow fully into their power. Girls grow up unafraid of predators inside or outside of their families. All people join together to address the concrete and immediate concerns of a warming planet and the underlying injustices that allow this trend to continue. Violence becomes a thing that is responded to with restorative justice whenever possible–not just warehousing of violators who then learn more insidious methods of violence.
