Since 2006, Resolana has provided holistic woman-centered programming to incarcerated women at Dallas County Jail, turning their time in custody into an opportunity to acquire the insight and self-discipline, skills and confidence to turn their lives around.

Volunteers have been practicing the “Break the Chain” dance in the Jail’s Resolana program pod for One Billion Rising.
One of the staff members who joined the female inmates had this to say, “What a wonderful opportunity to stand in unity with our women! Very moving!”

Resolana, builds a safe and challenging learning community behind the walls of the criminal justice system, where women can use their time in custody to acquire the skills, tools and resources for a positive reintegration into the lives of their children, families and communities.
