Justice requires that we all understand that we share the earth’s energy, and that bearing more of ourselves is only a gift to the earth if our progeny put back in at least equal measure to what they take of the universal energy. It is a realization that children have the right to be born into communities that have enough committed resources to care for them from conception to their ability to give back energy to the earth.
Justice looks like looking into the eyes of each other with empathy as we listen with our brains and the rest of our bodies. It looks like treating every person as we want the most vulnerable person or pet in our lives to be treated. It looks like partnerships of mutual responsibility and authority in place of helplessness and handouts. It looks like individuals understanding that we must give back in at least equal measure to that which we use and absorb of the universal energy.
