The Social Awareness Network for Activism through Art (SANAA) at UCLA is dedicated to feeding a need for social justice and equality while utilizing humans' innate attraction to the arts. By promoting and creating art using multiple mediums, we've worked since 2009 to inspire change and awaken curiosity in the minds of students. We are responsible for the annual production of V-Day/Vagina Monologues on UCLA's campus, as well as an annual Music and Culture Jam and countless workshops. We also coordinate with Manuel Arts High School to engage high school students and support their budding knowledge and need for artistic expression.
