Kate has been involved with V-day and One Billion Rising for many years as a survivor, activist, dancer and counselor. She believes that participating in events like OBR is a way to raise both individual, collective and planetary consciousness and as a counselor specializing in trauma treatment, empowerment, and personal growth, being in service to social change is a direct pathway to healing and personal transformation.
