About The Event

Come support and raise awareness for 1 Billion Rising Revolution and learn the fundamentals of Rock Climbing from experts at Rockreation Climbing Gym​. Trust, support and communication are key fundamental aspects of Rock Climbing, fundamentals needed to end Violence Against Women. Take this opportunity to conquer fears and experience support literally and figuratively in a sport where a person of any size can safely support a person of any other size through proper use of gear and technique. _________________________________________________________________________________ Ticket donations are on a sliding scale of $40-$100. About The Organizer

Michael J Silver

Michael is an actor in Los Angeles. He has been seen on such shows as Marvels Agents of Shield, the Mentalist, and Mad Men to name a few. Growing up he was always active in Social and Community outreach and became an Eagle Scout. While in college, among other things, he studied the work of Augusto Boal the Brazilian theatre director, writer, activist and politician. After college he moved to Wilmington, NC for a brief time where we was give a certificate by the Governor for his work bring the Arts to the children in the Juvenile Detention Center.
