Changing Wave is an association that promotes YOUth empowerment through arts to promote equality and zero discrimination. Target group is YOUth because YOUth has the power to impact current and future generations and act like a Changing Wave.

Changing Wave (formerly known as Lisbon Vday) organised the second edition of One Billion Rising in Portugal on February 14th, 2014. The event was presented by Merche Romero (TV presenter) and Dani (ex-footballer), and the flash mob was followed by music performances. The event was co-organised with the Lisbon Municipality and in partnership with government commissions (CIG) and Portuguese NGOs such as Amnesty International, APAV, ILGA, OIKOS, APMJ, UMAR, AMCV, P&D Factor, Raizes. It counted also with the support of members of the European Parliament and National Parliament, Media (Radio, TV, Newspapers, Magazines), football, music and fashion industry.
