About The Event
Next year we are holding 'Norwich Rising' at Chapelfield Gardens, on Sunday the 30th April 2017, along side the May day celebrations with Norwich and District Trade Union Council. We are hoping for a 1pm start. 'Norwich Rising' this year will be supported by ‘Norwich Dandies as part of their Dandifest arts festival. As well as highlighting violence and exploitation against woman and young girls, we intend to highlight the effect that unfair wages and wage restraints play in the world and very much hope you will join us, young, old, people with disabilities, women and men who love women. Let's all dance and speak up together. Dance rehearsals will be held in St. Margaret's Church of art in Norwich during Dandifest. Everyone can join in flash mob style dance. There will be speakers, poets and musicians at the May day celebration as well as stalls.
