About The Event
The event Milijarda ustaje will be held for the 8th time at the Flower Square in Zagreb, Croatia, gathering women activists, survivors and general audience. An event named I jedanput je nasilje - Pravosuđe ne štite žene (Even one time is violence - Institutions are not protecting women) will adress institutional violence. Women activists, survivors, actors, singers will read stories and women musicians and bends will show women's creativity and power.
Two groups of drumers will invite audience to come to the square.
Similar events are organized in other Croatian cities, like Osijek, Slavonski Brod, Križevci.
About The Organization
OBR Croatia Coordination
OBR Croatia Coordination consists of differend women's groups and initiatives: Ženska soba - Centar za seksualna prava, CESI - Centar za edukaciju, savjetovanje i istraživanje, Centar za ženske studije, Platforma za reproduktivnu pravdu, Udruga u dobroj vjeri, Zaklada Solidarna, RODA – Roditelji u akciji, Bolja budućnost - Udruga žena Romkinja Hrvatske i SOIH - Zajednica saveza osoba s invaliditetom Hrvatske.
