501 (c) 3 non-profit organization with a mission to provide individuals with developmental disabilities and serious mental illness with services that facilitate their reintegration into the community. Guma' Mami, Inc. has 2 community homes that provide residential services to 10 individuals with disabilities (5 residents per home). Guma' Mami, Inc. also provides various community services under its STOP Violence Against Women grant including community outreach and training events to raise public education and awareness of the various issues surrounding violence against women- especially women with disabilities.
Jirrah is a Program Coordinator with Guma' Mami, Inc. She coordinates the STOP Violence Against Women program activities throughout the year which includes community outreach events, training events, and the Women In Solidarity with Hope (W.I.S.H.) women's monthly support group.
