We are dancing for FREEDOM in the Dallas County Jail with the ladies in one of the Jail Pods. We are inviting in 20 guests to come in to support the ladies to Walk, Rise and Dance. Event Needs: bandanas, art supplies for the signs and/or program support.
Resolana, a program of Volunteers of America Texas, provides gender-specific, trauma informed, holistic, psycho-educational programming to female offenders, beginning inside the Dallas County Jail and continuing through their re-entry into the community. Our goals are to increase readiness for change on the inside, to increase use of existing community resources on the outside, and to reduce recidivism.
