Columbus Rising is a group of volunteers in Columbus, Ohio working to raise awareness about violence against women in concurrence with people around the world.

A writer in Columbus, Ohio, Rae Reed has worked for or served several local women's organizations, including The Women's Book, The Women's Fund of Central Ohio and Women for Economic Leadership and Development (WELD).
