ONE BILLION RISING WESTERN SYDNEY 2017 14th FEBRUARY 2017 11:00AM-1:30PM NIRIMBA EDUCATION PRECINCT (TAFE) Eastern Rd, Quakers Hill NSW 2763 JOIN THE GLOBAL MOVEMENT AND MAKE HISTORY IN WESTERN SYDNEY Community members, workers, residents and students in the Western Sydney are invited to join the rest of the world in rising up to end the violence and exploitation of women and girls. About The Organization

Outer West Domestic Violence Network (OWDVN)

Based in Blacktown LGA and surrounds, the OWDVN is an interagency group which aims to work collaboratively to address Domestic/Family Violence within a human rights framework advocating the right to safety for all women and children. The network is a partnership of Government and Non-Government Organisations including Police, Legal Services, Health Services, DV Specialist and Homelessness Services, Corrective Services, Government Departments and Social Welfare Organisations.

The event is a partnership with TAFE NSW Nirimba Campus, the WASH House Inc. and community partners across the Wester Sydney region including the Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Parramatta and Holroyd.
