About The Event
Triangle Nia presents a special Nia jam as part of the One Billion Rising campaign, a global call to action based on the staggering statistic that 1 in 3 women (a total of one billion women and girls) will be beaten or raped during her lifetime.
On February 14, we will dance together in community and in recognition of this reality facing women.
$5 and up per person. Suggested donation $10.
100% of proceeds from our event will benefit InterAct. InterAct is a private, nonprofit organization that provides safety, support, and awareness to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. InterAct also promotes violence-free relationships and communities through collaboration, public information, education and advocacy.
