It looks like feeling safe when you walk down the street alone.Nobody should be afraid to be in her own element,looking over her shoulder,protecting herself from sexual assault.We need to live in a world where our cultures don’t blame women for the violence that is inflicted upon them and where it is our fault that we are mistreated.No more violence against women.I want to live in a world where I don’t have to fear for my daughters pride being taken by some man that is damaged by his society.I want to live in a world in which I am not punished for having a vagina and for being a woman;in which I must bear the weight of the world because I am a woman.I wish that we taught each other how to love and appreciate ourselves and the women that live in this world.
