When we talk about rape in our country it had been not been perceived as a big deal before the media bang which did occur in some cases. The most important facet to understand is the occurrence of such situations. Safety of women is to be regarded as high as that of any bureaucrat/ politician . From an “innocent ” lewd look to the stalking of women must be pursued. The nonchalant attitude of ” let it be” or ” It’s Ok” must be eradicated. Each one of us must become responsible for the protection of women in our society. Leading by example, organizing committees to speak, understand the awareness is the need of the hour.

The discrimination against rape victims and survivors must also be cleaned from our “society” not only to give equal opportunities but also the hope of life , hope of a future in the world.
