Justice is awareness that none of us are free until all of us are free to walk without fear; to live without hunger; to live with respect for ourselves that is shared with others. The only way to find justice is through compassion, creativity, and communication. To do that each of us must walk our own path, free of the beliefs, constraints, and prejudices of past generations. We have the possibilities to reach out to each other on an international level; to communicate instead of quarrel; to learn about each other; to protect our women from rape; to protect our children from pointless and destructive war.
The time has come for people world wide to give voice to their needs, to support each others’ concerns. There is a world wide movement for this, despite the undercurrent of prejudice, diminishing others, persecuting once again the Romany. Billions of voices have the power to create justice over those who would rather spawn fear, war, misogyny. All we need to do is to make new choices. The more we tell our truths, the better choices we can make.
