As a child I was molested, beaten and starved. School was my safety but I was bullied and beaten for the poverty I lived in. Joined the army and was sexual assaulted twice, once by a fellow soldier, another an officer. I was married and for ten years beaten to protect my children, there was no help rescue didn’t come. I only held on to God and the hope of peace. I found courage as I looked into the innocent eyes of my chilldren. I left with nothing. I’m still fighting, I’m still trying to get divorced, I am still strengthening the brokenness of my soul but I stand in revolution. My voice is strong and I shall dance for every victory and every struggle!
