Women must be treated with dignity and respect. The culture has changed and men view women as their toy to play and then throw way. We have to rise together and work first on ourselves. The first thing we as women need to do is to live as dignified souls. We should not accept abuse. We have to work together with men who can help us to change the vision men have about women. We need to place constant reminders every where about the need for visionary change. A big part of the increasing violence against women is the easy access to alcohol and that also cheap alcohol. Alcohol consumption needs to be under strict regulations. In addition, the police force needs to be educated in India. Several allegations are against the police. Botched up investigation in rape cases are due to the way even police men look at women. Increasing women police force is necessary. Providing safe transportation to women and children is crucial in this. Strict work ethics and rules at work places need to be enforced.
