What does it mean to be a woman who is living up to her full potential AS A WOMAN? My thinking is so saturated by the patriarchy in which I have grown up. My vision of revolution is to seek role models of women who are living up to their potential as WOMEN and learn from them! As a 59-year-old white middle-class woman, I feel as though the lens through which I see the world is part of my very skull. From the God to whom I have habitually prayed to my judgments about what human potential really is, I feel that I cannot see clearly without male-dominated values many thousand years old. I want to shed these chains. I too want to help with power and love. I too want to RISE.
