I believe women, as well as all human beings, have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Emotional, physical and sexual control and violence used to squelch the inner voice and unique qualities that an individual so divinely possesses, is nothing short of criminal. Assaults of the body and spirit prevents growth.

I pledge to do whatever I can while on this earth to stop the oppression of women and all individuals who feel their rights are taken away, their fire and inner beauty is being doused by others who are insecure, mean-spirited and controlling , and do what I can to lead by example with strength, fairness and justice to keep our inner-fires burning, our lives empowered, and our resolve strengthened to ensure joy and purpose.
