Rising for Justice in Gloucester, Massachusetts. With a strong visible presence in the city since 1994, a Coalition of activists, survivors and advocates who make domestic violence a priority are asking community members to open their hearts and speak truth to what happens to women and girls all over the world. Healing Abuse, Working for Change; the Gloucester Coalition for the Prevention of Domestic Abuse, the North Shore Rape Crisis Center, local police and service agencies will rise on February 14, 2014 and continue our call for justice. Men, women and girls will speak out, dance and bring conscience and compassion to our Main Street, demanding an end to violence against women and girls – locally, nationally, internationally.
